Now on View: Pop & Street Art

Guy Hepner is pleased to present a selection of original works by Andy Warhol, Russell Young and Banksy now on view in Los Angeles. Guy Hepner’s current exhibition has been curated to reflect the growing relationship and dialogue between Pop Art and the burgeoning Street Art movement.

Immediately captivating works by Russell Young featuring youthful portraits of two of the twentieth-century’s greatest icons—Marilyn Monroe and Marlon Brando—successfully convey the impending tragedy and hardship both would face in their later years.

Andy Warhol’s unique canvases and works on paper are prime examples of his unrivaled ability to elevate the mundane to an iconic level. From a Studio 54 drink ticket to a Dollar Sign, Warhol’s sardonic examination of banality remains pertinent to this day.

Banksy persistently tackles overarching political, cultural and ethical themes plaguing modern society. Though intrinsically satirical, there is an unmistakable sense of compassion and empathy present in Banksy’s work.

Please contact the gallery for further information and availability. Appointments are available 7 days a week for private viewing and discussing your collecting needs.
