Urban Deconstruction: Property of a Private Collector

Guy Hepner is excited to present six paintings on canvas by renowned street artists Mr. Brainwash, Banksy and KAWS. A private collector has deaccessioned these incredible, one of a kind pieces for the first time. The six unique paintings will be on display for a limited time only in the gallery beginning Monday, August 24. Please contact the gallery for selective viewing by appointment before then.

The infamous urban artist Mr. Brainwash’s unmistakable style features cultural icons such as Michael Jackson, Madonna, Jackson Pollock and Albert Einstein. The result is both rousing and incendiary and has launched Mr. Brainwash to an iconic level of his own. With Mr. Brainwash's recent accomplishment of landing the cover of Madonna’s upcoming greatest hits album to sold out shows in both Los Angeles and London, this is only a taste of what is to come from this burgeoning artist.

The elusive prankster Banksy is a notorious English graffiti artist whose works are politically charged and often inflammatory. The fact that over 8,500 visitors attended the opening of Banksy's latest show at the Bristol City Museum and Art Gallery in June of this year, can attest to his ever-growing following.

The innovative artist and designer KAWS is best known for his parodies of popular culture. His repeating images are universally understood, surpassing all cultural barriers. KAWS has often been compared to Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat, both of whom straddled the divide between street and institutional art. In the past several years his career has skyrocketed. KAWS designed Kanye West’s most recent album cover, which appeared in 2008 on a Times Square billboard. Earlier this year a line stretched seven blocks for the opening of his second solo art show ever.

The cutting edge work of Mr. Brainwash, Banksy and KAWS is in constant high demand by collectors from the most discriminating to novice. Mr. Brainwash, Banksy and KAWS have been exhibited extensively with works held in many prominent public and private collections. Each has an innovative and distinctive style recognized and sought-after worldwide.
