Andreas Bitesnich; The Erotic Series
Austrian born Andreas Bitesnich is one of the most highly regarded contemporary photographers of our time. The self-taught, former retailer has opened up a world of intrigue with nude photography. Such mesmerizing nude photographs depict not only a sensual image of human form, but they also create a sense of transcendence by use of light and shadow. It is no secret that eroticism plays a key role in his photographs. And while this erogenous theme is consistent and very present, Andreas Bitesnich portrays it in a way that is not always crude, but rather quiet and even sweet.
Not all of his nudes are so naive, however. We are currently offering Adreas Bitesnich's Erotic series, which challenges the play-it-safers with bold model positions and light accents. Form is key here, and for a second, one may think that's all there is to the erotic photographs. But this is incorrect, for the elements of the photographs are precise. The setting, background imagery, and lighting play equally important roles. This, combined with the fleshy exposure of the muse culminates in one fantastic vision that is not easily forgotten.
