Guy Hepner is thrilled to report that artist Gavin Bond went to auction this weekend at Phillips de Pury & Company with outstanding results. His collection, “Victoria’s Secret, Backstage: Volume II,” went for $22,500 and his new set “Just Parce Que Je Suis Belle,” sold for $26,250; both incredible results which surpassed those of more establish artists like LaChappelle and Steven Klein.
To add to his exclusive body of work, Guy Hepner is proud to announce the release of this new Box Set by Gavin Bond, “Juste Parce Que Je Suis Belle,” meaning “Just Because I Am Beautiful;’ appropriate title for a man who’s work captures only the pinnacle of idyllic beauty: the supermodel.
"Just Parce Que Je Suis Belle" is comprised of a suite of eight 26 X 22 inch photographs on satin paper. The set features Bond’s beloved Victoria’s Secret models, and each photograph is printed in an artist designed, pinup-inspired box; an homage to Alberto Vargas and the pinup style of the 1950s.
