Andy Warhol Collection Available: Jackie Kennedy

Andy Warhol’s rare collection of screenprints on paper of Jackie Kennedy are now available through Guy Hepner. These three pieces of the collection, all depicting Jackie Kennedy, are all different images of the icon and each is in a unique color shade. The images show Mrs. Kennedy in an different moments that are not meant to be in a cohesive narrative form, but meant to feel random. The collection was in response to the assassination of Mr. Kennedy and to the emerging Information Age.

Warhol is known for his different collections of highly iconic public figures and became famous for his numerous works as a painter, printmaker, filmaker, author, and public figure. He was one of the main individuals to lead in the visual art movement known as pop art.
